After the NXE update, I can't find the place you go to change your theme.How do you change your theme on your Xbox?
where your avatar is on my xbox tab click that and it says Chage Theme if you have any themes you downloaded before the nxe update it will look like the xbox live tab background but biggerHow do you change your theme on your Xbox?

then click on the second box (the profile one)



go down and it should say change theme or something similar

My desktop somehow became locked and instead of the theme I had,it now has a plain blue screen.Ithen tried to change this to another theme by adding an internet picture as a backdrop image,and still the same blue screen.When I tried to change it thru the display in tools,I found I was locked out,and I don't know exactly how this came about!How do I get into a locked desktop to change a theme image in winxp?
Brother, you just COMPLETELY stumped me, umm the only thing I can think of is you are on a limited account and an administrator denied you access to change the theme. However, no desktop makes your computer go much faster and I personaly don't see the point of it.

Yes you can change the theme. You have to take ownership of the ehres.dll file in the c:/windows/ehome folder. Rename the ehres.dll to ehres.dll.bak then all you have to is find a theme file for vista mce that has what you want. Make sure that the file you choose is an ehres.dll file.

Go to Customize Journal Style.

Go to Select a different theme (can be found on the right of the page)

You need to tell us what OS you are using (WinXP, Vista, Mac OS 10, etc...)



Assuming WinXP, MS provides some basic themes. However you need to purchase a third party program to get more themes.
You could use the trial version of WindowBlinds: http://www.stardock.com/products/windowb

The trial expires after 30 days, but you can buy it if you like it enough. You can download skins for WindowBlinds from WinCustomize on this page (you do need a free registration unless you actually want to pay O.O): http://wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?libid

It wouldn't be that hard to find a skin that makes your start menu completely clear.
