How do I change the theme on Windows Vista?

I just downloaded several themes and can't seem to get any of them to work. I put them all in the C://Windows/Resources/Theme folder but they don't show up as themes when I go to the personalization menu.

The last one I downloaded was this one http://vista-styles.net/index.php/Vista-Style/Black-Dotted-Windows-Vista-Themes.html

Can anyone help me or give me a walk through? How do I change the theme on Windows Vista?
Hi Noroiko,

First thing first - make sure the website you are downloading from is safe. Here is a short demo that will show you how to change and save your theme in Vista: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windo Within this link there is a resource to help you determine if a website is safe to download from or not.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,

Cassandra
