How do i change the theme on my vista computer? it won't recognize and use msstyles themes?

it seems to detect .theme files but i can't find like any of them and i see examples of people that appear to be running vista and using these themes but my computer just can't seem to use these .msstyles themes at all. even after using vista glazz. what's going on? can i convert the msstyles themes? if so someone please give me easy to read guided instructions.How do i change the theme on my vista computer? it won't recognize and use msstyles themes?
Do you have a patched uxtheme.dll? If you don't, only official Microsoft themes will work.
