What ';CHANGE'; is Obama and Biden talking about?

The original 'change' was about the war in Iraq. In fact the DNC change theme started with the last congressional election where they promised they would get us out of Iraq and we know how well their change was worth.



Now they have rewritten and flipped/flopped so many times, I don't see how anyone can take their 'change' theme serious. It's now about oil prices and the economy which wasn't an issue before except how much we were spending on the war. Obama is rated as one of the worst pork barrel spenders in congress (10% by Citizens Against Government Waste) so unlikely to bring about any changes in that regard.



They won't admit the surge worked and caused insurgents to flee to Afghanistan and now claim that is what they wanted all along for our troops to go to Afghanistan where the insurgents were located. Hey, they weren't located there last year when they wanted us to cut %26amp; run to the safe haven of Afghanistan.



I guess the bottom line is that I am sick of their flip/flopping. Even Biden admitted the surge worked when on Face the Nation the other day, but attempted to say that Obama foresaw insurgents flocking to Afghanistan two years before they did. No, he wanted to cut %26amp; run and ';redeploy'; in the safety of Afghanistan was the truth... and that was the ';change'; he was running on.



Anyone else see how blatant they try to rewrite history, that we all lived through in just the past couple of years?

I was wondering the same thing filling up my gas tank yesterday out of this $100 how much change will I get?
He wants to change us into a universally poor country. Kind of like a large scale Cuba.

Change will be what's left of your paycheck. I've been to his website and seen all of the plans he has dreamed up. More government agencies, more social services, more of the governments sticky fingers mucking up the free market system. This kind of change doesn't come without a ridiculously large price tag. He has no outlined plan on reducing all the wasteful spending that is already going on now, and his plan for funding all this change is to basically make the ';rich'; pay for it. He doesn't realize that sh*t rolls downhill. Any increase in taxes on larger companies will be passed on down the line. The ';rich'; know how to avoid paying more in taxes, so when he comes up short for funding all these dreams do we really have to wonder who will really end up paying for it?
