Nokia 6280. How to manage shared memory of Nokia 6280?

I just bought a new Nokia 6280, i am unable to change themes, it shows a message saying ';Not enough memory'; but i still have atleast 3 MB in the phone memory. I'd like to have all the memory go to the Memory card just as like my previous phone, Nokia 6630. Im really having a hard time. Another thing, my inbox always shows full after receiving 8 texts. Thats too low considering 6280 being a high end phone right? Please post ur comments. Thanks.Nokia 6280. How to manage shared memory of Nokia 6280?
Definitely your phone memory is full and it seems you did not insert the memory card (miniSD) that should come with box, or buy a another. Nokia 6280 has a very small memory in it self, about 6MB, the philosophy is to use the miniSD.



When you Insert the memory card, check that the settings of the camera and the voice recording selected to use the memory card not the phone.



It is recommended to transfer all your photos, mp3s, and other stuff to the memory card and keep the phone memory empty for the text massages. If you have 5MB free memory in the phone, it will take about 10,000 text messages !!! (I have 6280 and tested this)



Otherwise, if you done all that and the problem still exist, you should take the phone to nokia service center.
