So I'm doing a power point and I want to have another theme but everytime I change the theme for one slide it changes all of them (or most of them). How can I stop this from happening w/o using slide master and starting over or right clicking (b/c I've tried and it doesn't work)

There are several different ways to do what you want. Probably the easiest is to click the Themes button on the elements gallery bar. Then select the slide you want to apply the theme to in Normal view and click one of the themes.
